Grandad Anansi

Suffolk theatre shows for children

An uplifting story of love, courage and letting go!

Grandad is as smart and mischievous as the wily spider Anansi, but can he find a way to tell his granddaughter about his plans to return to his beloved homeland in the Caribbean? Set in a beautiful garden and filled with original songs and classic Jamaican folktales, Grandad Anansi is an uplifting story of love, courage and letting go.

Written by award-winning children’s author Elayne Ogbeta, Grandad Anansi was originally produced by Half Moon Theatre and Z-arts.

The show run also features two performances in NW2, the gold-roofed building opposite the main New Wolsey Theatre building, on Sat 9 May!
