Holmes has booked Watson a two week stay at a health spa, high in the Sproughton Mountains, near Ipswich. Though Watson insists he doesn’t require steam baths and carrot soup, Holmes persuades him to “take the cure” and return to his duties well rested and refreshed.

But something is amiss at Queasy Pines Sanatorium. Having no contact with the outside world except phone, post, telegram and carrier pigeon, Watson must wait for Holmes’ visit to tell him of the mysterious disappearances at Queasy Pines and its strange one legged Superintendent, Professor Eintrouser.
