Walk the Road: A Celebration of American Folk Music

Suffolk theatre shows american folk music

Featuring original songs and stories about the characters and their lives, created and presented by the acclaimed Mark Harrison Band.

The soul of American folk blues, told in a very British voice.

Walk The Road brings to life the personalities, world and adventures of the great folk blues artists who invented so much of the music we hear and like today. It takes you on a fun journey from the juke joints of the Mississippi Delta of the 1920s to the Newport Folk Festivals of the 1960s (as portrayed in the film about Bob Dylan A Complete Unknown)

An uplifting evening of modern songs that sound like classics, showing how the music and spirit of the great troubadours live on stage. Telling informative and amusing tales of the people and their lives, drawing parallels with the world today

Mark Harrison is a long-established and multi-award-nominated singer/songwriter who often draws on folk blues history for his inspiration.
